A library learning common is a place for study and fun. From little projects or group work too big projects it could be for school or passion project but also functions like a library with the ability to take out books out and learn. It is necessary to modernize traditional library's because the traditional libraries are a little outdated with the idea of no talking while there when people learn more from discussion with others while working therefore, they need to change the idea of letting people work in small groups if they want also instead of finding working in a book there is such thing as the internet which helps instead of looking into a book that's older than the building itself.
When we visited the Vancouver public library and UBS’S library I saw the difference from the traditional library to upgraded into basically learning commons they had technology to help with projects like recording rooms to little areas that allowed people to study and talk in a group
The change happening at D.W Poppy you can be seen every day. For example, every Friday we have a movie day and candy sale our library gives people access to thinks they might need to do schoolwork or passion project it gives access to the internet to do research the most meaning full part in the library in my opinion would be the access to the internet because it allows you to search up anything you need for work passion project anything it is the most useful thing in modern library’s in my opinion of course
